On Thursday, October 10, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Texas Roadhouse locations across Tennessee will host a Tip-A-Cop fundraiser. This event is organized by the Spring Hill Police Department as part of a statewide initiative to benefit Special Olympics Tennessee.

During the fundraiser, local law enforcement officers will serve as waitstaff, and all tips received will go directly to support athletes in their training and competitions. Residents are encouraged to come out, enjoy a meal, and contribute to this cause that aims to enhance the lives of Special Olympics athletes.

Spring Hill reopens roads after overturned concrete truck

Spring Hill police said all roads were open again as of 2:50 p.m. after an overturned concrete truck on Port Royal Road caused minor injuries. The department earlier reported possible congestion and a temporary shutdown in the area.

TDOT to Close Saturn Parkway Off-Ramps for Repairs

TDOT will close the eastbound and westbound off-ramps from Saturn Parkway to Port Royal Road this weekend for concrete repairs. Drivers are asked to use the off-ramps at Kedron Road, and Port Royal Road on-ramps will remain open.

Pittsburgh first responders join schools for community days
