Tampa General Hospital, the only Level I Trauma Center in the region, has announced that it is fully operational and prepared to care for the community during Hurricane Helene. The hospital's AquaFence, a barrier designed to withstand up to 15 feet of storm surge, successfully held up against the storm.

Additionally, TGH Brooksville and TGH Spring Hill facilities are functioning normally, continuing to provide services to the community. For updates on hospital operations and changes to outpatient services in the greater Tampa Bay area, individuals are encouraged to visit the hospital's website at www.TGH.org/emergency-preparedness.
