**Flood Watch Issued for Middle Tennessee**

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for all of Middle Tennessee through tonight due to expected periods of rain continuing through the weekend.

- Residents can anticipate heavy rainfall at times today, with widespread rain this afternoon.

- The rain is expected to become more scattered tonight and into Saturday.

- Heaviest rainfall is anticipated through this evening, with lingering showers and a few storms continuing over the weekend.

**Potential Impacts:**

- Localized flooding may occur in urban and low-lying areas.

- There may be rises in local creeks and streams.

- Widespread river flooding is not expected.
